Nelson Civic Theatre Society is seeking an assistant theatre manager

Nelson Civic Theatre Society Assistant Theatre Manager is responsible for the effective operation of the theatre for films, events, rentals, or other activities, and for creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for patrons.  This comprises both projection and floor management during films, rentals or special events.

The Assistant Theatre Manager is responsible for supervising box office, concessions, ushers, janitorial, and any other staff or volunteers required to operate the theatre for their assigned shifts.  Effective control of cash and tickets is paramount.

The Assistant Theatre Manager is responsible for ensuring the physical plant is clean and will not pose a hazard to patrons, and will work with the Theatre Manager and Facility Manager to effect necessary maintenance and repairs.

Candidate must be eligible for the KCDS Wage Subsidy Program.
